    Hi
    I’m Alfred from Italy !
    Nice Blog !
I was looking at your portfolio and i saw many Tesco.
Now i own share of Morrison and Sainsbury and i’m very interested in english retailers.
What’s the problem with these companies ?
The Tesco share price is the same as in 2005 !
Sorry for my basic english and good luck for your journey !

Thanks for sharing your portfolio with us. While I am familiar with many of the names listed there, I see quiet a few that I have never heard of. The perils of being a U.S. investor. I think we definitely need more education about some of the other great companies in the world and not just stay U.S. focused.

Thanks for your very interesting blog. I hold a few of the same companies as you and will continue to purchase more. I am primarily interested in UK companies. I currently have 10K to invest – if you were to invest 10K right now which companies from your portfolio would you add to?

      Hi Jan

Thanks for your comment. I am probably looking to add to my Unilever and Diageo holdings, these are under represented in my portfolio at present so want to bring them more in line with my other holdings. The dividend yield is lower on these companies, but I think they will benefit from emerging markets moving towards branded products.

Please note that this is what would do, may not be the correct thing for anyone else, so please do not see this as “advice”.

Best Wishes in investing your 10k

      FIUK
